11 riders, 40kms, 2hrs ++
Me, Badak and Belon joining the elementdh riders for this week NR. dh riders needed some endurance building to pedal their dh rigs at full speed, so here we are keeping them companies.
Ride started at 2300hrs, led by Man (there was another Man, not sure which is which). routing as planned by the other Man is molek-larkin-pasar karat-permas-molek. in 2hrs? whoa..
it had been quite some time since the last 40kms ride i had a few months back. now that i am tied-up with my commitment, the chance of riding comes scarce. it is actually a privilege to know that i am able to ride tonight. phew..
i had a chance to meeting a dh rider who can ride faster than a devoted xc whippet. i notice that this rider cranks up big gears (44-11) all the way long from start to the end. even on climbs! (try doing the Permas Jaya bridge with this gearing combination). well, this guy got the lungs and legs to compensate his racing speed.
the guys at element, they are a bunch of friendly, cool people. would like another ride with them sometime soon.
